ABOUT OUR WONDERFUL FLAT RATE SHIPPING: Loomis Magic ships almost everything* to customers in the U.S. by Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. We have found this to be fast and reliable, although occasionally it takes a little longer than the 2 or 3 days the Post Office shoots for. (Sometimes it takes less, too.) When you enter items into the shopping cart, a one time $8.50 charge will be added. We understand that this is not a great price if you are buying just one item. But this is a flat fee, and will not go up whether you buy 10 things or 100 things! On large orders this will be a GREAT savings over our competition. Besides, we have the best prices around on most of our products. Couple that with the fact that we now handle over 6000 different products and you can see why so many of our customers tell us they buy exclusively from us.
Remember that if you use Pay Pal it will automatically add the address it has on file for you. If your address changes, you should update your Pay Pal account. You can also email us or call us with a different address, of course. The Post Office policy is to leave Priority Mail Packages, even if they are too large for your mail receptacle. Often they will put a package on your porch, or lean it against your door. It's possible that a passerby might just grab it. Obviously, if the Delivery is confirmed by the Post Office, Loomis Magic is not responsible if some one steals it at your end.
If you can, please provide an address with someone there to accept packages. Many of our customers have their packages sent to a work address for exactly that reason. You might consider having us ship to relatives, friends or neighbors where someone is at home during the day. If you can't do this, if will help to provide some kind of mail receptacle which is large enough for the package to go inside. Even if it doesn't lock, if the package is out of sight, the odds of it being stolen are much less. Don't be alarmed, most deliveries are trouble free, but in today's world it pays to be careful.
*We handle a few items which are too large to ship by Priority Mail. In that case we will ship by UPS.
