Family Night Fund Rai$er Show

Need funding for a special project? This is one of the easiest and fastest fund raisers a school group can sponsor. The school or sponsor can make from several hundred dollars to over $1,000.00 with this event!

Very little time and manpower from the school or sponsor are required. Since there is no minimum guarantee to the show, there is no way the sponsor can lose money on this project. The entire project can be completed in two weeks.

The program includes:

1. Complete instructions for a successful event.
2. Layouts of all promotional materials which can be printed on the schools copy machine:
• flyers
• posters
• letters
• tickets
3. Two magic shows:
• Thirty minute preview assembly show
• One-hour and forty five minute

full-evening presentation of
"The Magical Artistry of Dennis Loomis"

• One week before the show, the students take home a flyer about the show, and a letter from the principal or the president of the sponsoring organization.
• Two or three school days before the event, the students enjoy a 30 minute preview assembly show. They are given another letter and a flyer to take home.
• The day of the show, volunteers help set up the room for the show. Volunteers are also needed to collect and sell tickets at the door and to sell concessions.

Contests are a great way to stimulate the students' interest, and they can win a free ticket to the show.

The primary age students can take part in a coloring contest:

• After the preview assembly show, the students get a Magic Drawing to color.
• The results are put on display in the classroom and the students themselves vote on which is the best one.
• The student whose drawing receives the most votes gets a free ticket to the show.
